Multimedia Class Creates Homecoming Website
For the fourth year in a row, Multimedia Presentations Class has had the privilege of creating the Homecoming website for Newark Community High School. This project gave students real-world experience communicating with clients and creating media-rich web pages.

Welcome to Multimedia!
Multimedia is a semester course designed to allow you to capture, edit, and enhance digital images to create digital stories using specialized software including, but not limited to, Photoshop, Prezi, iMovie, Final Cut and Garageband. This is a production oriented class.
Projects completed in this class will be placed in the student’s portfolio complete with reflections. This process will be a part of the evaluation for the lessons/projects. In addition, an oral presentation related to course content will be required.
All materials are provided for you, except a three-ring binder to keep your handouts in, and a pencil.

2011 Music Video Project
Multimedia students created a music video using their own original music. Students began this project by composing an original 40-measure song using Garageband. As an introduction to compositing, also known as green screen, Multimedia students learned how to layer multiple video tracks in Final Cut Express. The final product is a combination of composited video and their original soundtrack.

Websites Made to Order
Multimedia Presentations Class recently created restaurant websites using online design tools. The websites were assessed on content, organization, navigation, aesthetics, and technical design. Seniors were given the option to create a website for their senior project. Click on the thumbnails below to view each site:
