2022-2023 Painting I Gallery

The Still Life project challenges students to paint a still life using personal objects. Students arrange the objects to create a visually appealing composition, using a viewfinder to crop the picture. Students must rely on their observation skills to match colors and create highlights and shadows.

This project helps students develop composition and color mixing skills, explore object surroundings, and capture object characteristics. It also encourages relying on observation rather than photos to improve artistic abilities and create compelling artwork.
