Drawing I: Final Ink Project

This gallery showcases Drawing I students' final ink compositions, inspired by their own photographs. In this project, students applied ink pen hatching techniques, layering lines to create value, contrast, and gradation. By mastering cross-hatching—as well as exploring line removal in a series of scratchboard drawings—they brought depth, dimension, and texture to their work.
