Product Design Project

For this project, students in Computer Graphics became commercial artists assigned to re-design the package of an existing product. Students selected items where a design improvement could enhance the product's visual appeal.

After studying composition and color theory related to commercial design, typography, and other attention-getting devices, the commercial artists began sketching and planning their ideas.

The resulting works were created using professional graphics software. Successful designers will lure their audience into purchasing their product. If you feel compelled to reach for your credit card, the commercial artist succeeded.
