Artists Awarded at Town & Country Art Show

Congratulations to Newark High School Artists for their award winning entries at the Town and Country Art Show this past weekend, March 10 & 11, 2012. Kelsey Patrick received the coveted "Best of Show" Award with her pencil drawing. Emily McCoy's pencil drawing was awarded People's Choice and First Place. Marissa Rennick, Michael Thorton and Chris Murawski received First Place ribbons for their drawings. Max Bisaillon, Ryan Kerner and Keli Bell were awarded First Place ribbons for their ceramic artwork. Congratulations to all who participated.

Kelsey Patrick's artwork, a 16"X20" pencil drawing entitled "A Vacation to Remember" was awarded Best of Show.


Emily McCoy's artwork, a 16"X20" pencil drawing entitled "King on his Throne" was awarded People's Choice.



Chris Murawski's artwork, a 16"X20" colored pencil drawing entitled "Nighttime Under a New Sky" placed First.




Keli Bell's ceramic artwork entitled "Boots and Bubba" placed First.




Ryan Kerner's ceramic artwork entitled "Reposed Frog" placed First.




Max Bisaillon's ceramic artwork entitled "Scorpion" placed First.




Marissa Rennick's artwork, a 16"X20" pencil drawing entitled "Young Summer Days" placed First.




Michael Thornton's artwork, a 16"X20" pencil drawing entitled "Guitar Breakdown" placed First.




Haylie Toftoy's artwork, a 18"X24" watercolor entitled "Scottish Castle" received a Participation ribbon.




J.P. Elizalde's artwork, a 16"X20" colored pencil drawing entitled "Breaking Free" received a Participation ribbon.
